The world is wondering when the new UFC Women’s bantamweight champion Holly Holm will fight again. Will it be a rematch against former champ Ronda Rousey? Will it be Meisha Tate? Will it be Cyborg?

UFC president Dana White recently declare that former champ Ronda Rousey will be granted a rematch against Holm, and that Holm would have to wait until UFC 200 in July.

With nothing signed yet and Ronda in relative obscurity since the loss, Holly does not want to sit around and wait.

From a recent episode of The MMA Hour:

“If I fight sooner rather than later, it won’t be a rematch, but it’s still possible to get a rematch, but they haven’t announced anything exact yet. I guess we will wait and see how the cards unfold. I’m not going anywhere, but I will be fighting, hopefully sooner rather than later. I just don’t want to wait around for things if they are not set in stone. A lot of people have been talking about the rematch, but nobody knows for sure. I have not even heard from Ronda if she wants it yet or not or if she’s occupied with other things right now. That’s the hardest thing for me. If I knew something was set in stone, then maybe I would think about it a little more. I just don’t want to wait around for something that may not happen.”

Although Holly doesn’t know when her next fight will be, her manager Lenny Fresquez recently told FOX Sports that he’s pretty sure the UFC will make an announcement this week. Holm did not give any details on what the announcement is but said she knows about it.

Guesses??
