The excitement of the upcoming UFC 195 event brings many thoughts as to who, how and why certain fighters, whether you like or dislike, will win. Lets quickly go over those feelings as to whom you want to win and whom you think will, because of course those are two separate aspects of the fight game that everyone realizes plays a part in the excitement of how fights play out. So as quickly fights and opinions can turn out, here is the chance to show how each UFC card can play out.

Trujillo vs Sims

ABEL TRUJILLO VS TONY SIMS (1/5)

Who I want to win: Abel Trujillo
Who I think will win: Abel Trujillo

Thoughts/Reasons: Straight to the point, never heard of Tony Sims. Have heard of Abel and seen him fight, who is an aggressive fighter but his aggression can get the better of him. Abel hasn’t had a signature win in quite a while so as to why I think Abel should do what he does best and become aggressive and get his hand raised.

Brandao vs. Ortega

DIEGO BRANDAO VS BRIAN ORTEGA

Who I want to win: Diego Brandao
Who I think will win: Diego Brandao

Thoughts/Reasons: Another fight as to where I don’t know much of the underdog. All I can take in is I’ve seen Diego fight and is another aggressive fighter who can finish fights with swift stand up and even go to the ground, has the jits to finish a fight as well. Only thing I can see working against Diego is size. Saw the weigh ins and Ortega does look as though he is the more physically intimidating person as far as stature goes. Yes he has the undefeated record but still feel as though Diego, with his aggressiveness and experience, should come up with the win.

Tumenov vs. Larkin

ALBERT TUMENOV VS LORENZ LARKIN

Who I want to win: Lorenz Larkin
Who I think will win: Lorenz Larkin

Thoughts/Reasons: Saw Albert when he picked apart Alan Joubain and it was impressive, regardless how it was going for Alan. Lorenz is another stand up oriented fighter, especially in his recent fights, which have been entertaining so it’s no surprise he’s on the main card, especially against another fighter who can bring it. Albert, from what little I’ve seen from him, can be devastating. But I feel as though Larkin should be the mature fighter to take it home.

Miocic vs. Arlovski

STIPE MIOCIC VS ANDREI ARLOVSKI

Who I want to win: Andrei Arlovski
Who I think will win: Stipe Miocic

Thoughts/Reasons: Everyone likes a good comeback story and for Andrei to win this fight, I’m sure he will get his re-due and fight for the title. But Stipe is no joke; and although losing to Dos Santos, he is legit and I can see him winning by grinding it out. I would like to see Andrei win to have that feel good comeback story but Stipe is no joke regardless of his last lost, and I guess we will see if Andrei has really redefined himself to get that crack.

Who I want to win: Robbie Lawler
Who I think will win: Robbie Lawler

Thoughts/Reasons: Robbie knows what’s up and will bring it until he’s out cold. Do I think he will be out cold? NOPE! Carlos is no scrub either and I guess in a way I wouldn’t be surprised if he does pull it off. Lawler, though has already had more title fight experience that can be a defining factor, because when you’re in title fights, you’re train of thought is a different mind set, and brews reactions to where it can be an advantage. Thankfully for Robbie, as of now, he has that experience of Carlos. But damn Carlos is a beast and this should, and better be, a defining fight in MMA history. Regardless, as much as I’m a fan boy of GSP, Robbie has brought that barbarian feel to the division, that any division should have or want. Regardless Robbie for the win!
